10/12/2020 5 Comments Planning the HOA FutureThe Covid 19 outbreak has exposed the fact of how fragile our finances are. We are not like the US Federal Government that can print money
to stimulate the economy. Our board has focused on reducing expenses and limiting services to cope with budget shortfalls. As this pandemic drags on, we need to prioritize planned future expenses, continue to eliminate unnecessary expenses, re-assess existing contracts with both vendors and employees and focus on generating additional revenue. In other words, instead of treating the HOA as a "Country Club", we need to treat the HOA as a viable business and focus on reducing our reliance on homeowners subsidies? What are your thoughts?
