January 25th Board Chat

This Saturday, January 25th at 1pm, our HOA board is hosting a homeowners chat. This is your opportunity to have a two-way dialog with 2 or 3  board members.

Come in person to the Master's Lounge and voice your questions and/or concerns, such as:

  • The decommission of our tag readers and the implementation of the new license plate readers.

  • The upcoming renovation of the Mountain View Grill’s outside porch.

  • The status of the spa reopening at the fitness center.

  • What plans are being considered for increasing revenues.

  • What steps are being taken to reduce costs.

  • Why it is important for all homeowners to submit their ballots in the upcoming board election.

If you cannot attend in person, log in remotely using the zoom information below:

Why are there no longer showers available for gym members at the fitness center. It's a major let down

For as long as I have been on this property (23 yrs ) The restaurant has NEVER turned a profit. In fact it usually is a $300K to $400K loser a year.
So, why are we spending any money on a patio upgrade? WE as a community need to either 1) Enact a monthly minimum to cover its cost to the community as many clubs do ( sorry Canadians all 12 months ) Or 2) Lease the space to a qualified F&B operator. The service is BAD and the food is marginal. Other than that it's great. Why do we continue to do the same things and expect a different outcome. Oh and while I'm at it, why didn't we replace the failing entry doors at the Fitness center. They have been problematic for years. The humans making decisions have NO idea what they are doing.

We are about to be residents at Desert Princess and have a few questions for the blog.
1a- Are the walls/studs and ceiling areas outside of the drywall (areas between and above condos) covered by HOA?
1b- If there were rodents or a water line break in those areas who is responsible? What about gas line from main to bbq?
Thank you so much for your time answering!
